Listening to REM puts me in a mood to blog. Surprisingly excited to play at the end of the month, it makes me hope for more things to come. Inspiration for new songs has been coming to us pretty frequently, I think it’s more of a chore and sometimes difficult to keep that flowing energy positive. I guess it’s not a bad problem to have, as we have been able to create as of late. (I didn’t mean to make that rhyme.) We just have to keep consistent. Alright, I’m done here. Night.

Ok, I think we have a facebook profile now. I’m not sure why facebook insists on making a band page so difficult. Trying to figure out the url situation has been a daunting and frustrating task to say the least. Ugghh, you jerks better “fan” our page or this might be more work than its worth.

So, I’m debating on whether to start up a facebook page for us. It’d be just another forum for us to become lazy with and not update and what have you. I’ll do it eventually seeing that I’ll probably have to anyway. Well, that’s assuming that we keep any sort of a pulse beyond writing and rehearsing, speaking of which Gib and I are gonna be roomates starting this weekend and we’ve already agreed that we’re gonna sit and write a ton of music and I’m gonna drink a ton of coffee. That should make for some motivation. I hope this blog doesn’t become something I/We do in vain. Whatev.

We’re gonna be playing a Toys For Tots Christmas benefit show on December 12th. We have to add a Christmas song to our set per whoever exactly is putting on this benefit. Not sure what We’re gonna do yet. We’ll figure something out I guess.
We are all very excited about our new songs and can’t wait for people who aren’t us to hear them.

This is the official Telltales blog/website. Myspace is starting to become a ghost town and more of a dead forum so we will begin to document our progress in all things band releated through this medium. We’re in the middle of writing a whole slew of new songs while trying to prepare our record for some sort of a self release for the very near future.
